Excellent entry level GIS opportunities at Mouchel          Parkman

Mouchel Parkman is a professional support services group. They help clients
in both the public sector and regulated industry to provide better everyday
services to customers and communities. Mouchel Parkman’s rare combination
of professional, commercial, and technical expertise enables them to
improve their client’s strategy, services, people, and asset management.
They have recently won two 5-year stewardship contracts at Transport for
London, to inspect and manage network maintenance in the South, South East,
and South Central sectors of London. And as a result they require GIS
Technicians and GIS operators to join their highways team;

GIS Technician x 3 (£5.50-£7.00 p/hr, 40 hr week)
Based at Old Kent Road, South East London, you will be completely office
based and have good working knowledge of ‘MapInfo 7.5’ or ‘MapInfo 7.8’.
Your main duties/activities will include GIS data entry and database
management. This is an excellent entry-level GIS role and is a great
opportunity to gain more GIS experience and enhance both your skills and
your CV. The contract is due to run until August/September 2005.

GIS Operator/Asset Surveyor x 8 (£5.50-£8.00 p/hr, 40 hr week)
Working out of the Old Kent Road office, South East London, you will be
primarily site based and have good working knowledge of ‘MapInfo 7.5’
or ‘MapInfo 7.8’. Your main duty/activity will to be conduct asset surveys
of road/street networks, using GIS software to capture and manipulate data.
This is a great opportunity to gain excellent practical and technical GIS
experience. The contract is due to run until August/September.
