IS Operations Managers (2 vacancies) - Ref 1019260/B
Opportunity:
· Our clients IS Group is responsible for the development and
maintenance of computer systems and infrastructure to store, manage, and
geospatial and business data.
· Effectively manage business continuity activity such as
infrastructure and system support so that the operational needs of the
business can be satisfied
· Manage a number of resources deployed across system or
infrastructure support and maintenance activities. You will also have line
management responsibilities for these staff.
· Responsible for taking forward strategic decisions by turning them
into effective day-to-day activities and solutions.
· Identify the current and future needs e.g. training, recruitment or
contract provision.
· Manage the conflicts on the resources within your area imposed by
new projects and changes in business priorities.
Requirements:
· IT/ Business Systems Management
· SAP or Oracle back office systems
· OR Web technologies
· OR Geospatial technologies
· Managing people and their development effectively to create a high
performance team. (training, technical guidance, motivation, team building,
etc.)
· Managing large budgets
· Creating, owning and improving business processes
· Ability to build effective business relationships, both internally
and externally
· Project Management
Location:
UK, South
Salary:
· £30,000 – £35,000
