GIS COORDINATOR
HarperCollins Publishers, one of the UK's largest publishers, currently has
a vacancy for a GIS Coordinator in its Cheltenham office, which specialises
in mapping the British Isles.
As part of a small database team, you would be responsible for developing
and maintaining our ESRI-based GIS environment, and for outputting data to
meet our busy publishing and production schedules. You would also have
overall responsibility for data sales production and support.
You should be a good team player, qualified to degree standard with a
minimum of 2 years experience in a Cartographic or GIS environment, and have
a detailed knowledge of Arc/Info and ArcGIS. Experience with ArcSDE, SQL
Server, Visual Basic and Maplex would be advantageous.
