Geographic Information Officer - CE31NI, Inverness
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Production and Projects Team within
SNH's Geographic Information Group. The successful applicant will be
responsible for delivering a wide range of mapping/ data capture services to
SNH's customers & will have previous experience of spatial data capture &
cartography.
You will have a relevant qualification in GIS/ related field and a thorough
understanding of spatial data issues, cartographic design and output. Spatial
data management skills plus a sound IT background are essential for this post.
Experience in RDBMS , SQL, GPS and the use of ESRI products is desirable.
The role demands close collaboration with customers and partners and you will
have excellent communication skills and be capable of working both as a team
player and under your own initiative.
Starting salary of £18,219, with guaranteed progression based on satisfactory
performance, plus generous leave allowance and a choice of final salary or
stakeholder pension.
