As a result of the continued expansion of our GIS consultancy activity and
the opening of our new dedicated training facility we are seeking to recruit
a GIS analyst to join our 7-strong GIS / database team where you will have
the opportunity to work in all aspects of the GI business. You will assist
in GIS application development and training, and managing data modelling,
data capture activity, and quality control, and will have a key role in the
expansion of GIS and data services within the Institute.
You will have extensive GIS application development experience. Suitable
candidates are likely to have a GIS qualification, possibly with an
environmental background, with postgraduate experience or qualifications in
environmental information management, analysis and development.
You should have at least 2 years commercial and consultancy experience and
be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the application of GIS to
commercial needs, and have proven experience of ESRI products and their
