Vacancy: Landscape and GIS Unit, Macaulay Research Consultancy Services (MRCS)
Applications are invited for a consultant to undertake contract research and
consultancy in the area of landscape planning.
This post will be based in the Landscape and GIS Unit of Macaulay Research
Consultancy Services Ltd. which has a portfolio of contract research and
consultancy in the field of landscape planning, spatial data handling, GIS
system design and development, and GIS applications.
Applicants for the post should have a degree or equivalent in an
environmental science, planning or computer science, a relevant postgraduate
qualification in GIS and/or at least 1 year's relevant postgraduate
experience in the field of GIS system development and/or the application of
GIS to environmental problems. At least 1 year’s post qualification
experience in a commercial environment is desirable.
Starting salary, depending upon qualifications and experience, will be
normally within the range £22,351 - £25,767 per annum. Non-contributory
Superannuation Scheme.
