GIS Technical Officer (2 Posts) Clackmannanshire Council, Scotland
£18,391-£20,169, Permanent: Full-time, 35 hrs/wk
You'll be involved in providing specialist GIS and technical support for
all staff within the Services. Additionally you will provide Desk Top
Publishing services to functional teams. There will be a strong bias
towards managing the Services response to the Ordnance Survey Positional
Accuracy Improvement Programme in liaison with Forth Valley GIS as well as
providing technical expertise towards the ongoing development of the CAPS
Solutions Uniform 7 Spatial. As part of ongoing project work there will be
a requirement to provide technical support with regard the management of
Historical Planning, Building Standards and Land Title Deed information
including capturing and detailing the Council's Land transactions.
You will be educated to at last HNC level in a related or equivalent
subject, and have a minimum of 1 years experience in providing GIS
technical support as well as 1 years experience in DTP. Additionally
experience in ESRI ArcGIS and CAPS Solutions Uniform 7 Spatial is
desirable.
