Hi, I have a student who wants to work on feminist responses to Barthes'
"Death of the Author" and "Camera Lucida." She is particularly interested
in what she considered his rejection of the personal and individual voice
in the former and the return of these in the latter, even if these voices
operate on two different levels. She wants to explore these issue by
looking at the role of the feminine voice/presence in the creation of the
two works. I've given her some material and am hoping for further sources.
Thanks in advance. Apologies for cross-postings.
