Hi All,
I would like to investigate whether my baseline condition is appropriate (eyes open, doing
"nothing"). My idea is to calculate the inter-subject (n=9) variability across all baseline periods and
all voxels. Strong variability in a certain area should indicate that this brain area is active during
baseline in some subjects but not in others, suggesting that the baseline condition might not be
optimal.
1) Do you think that this approach makes sense?
2) If yes, how would I calculate the inter-subject variability of the baseline?
3) If not, what would be a better strategy to assess the baseline?
Thank you very much for your help!
Peter
