Hello
I am trying to draw plots of the BOLD signal time series averaged over
all occurences of a particular EV and I am confused as to the best way
to do this.
Details of my study
In each scan 2 types of trials are presented in random order (ie is
different for each participant). In a first level analysis I modelled
each type of trial as a separate EV. To investigate the differences
between the two types of trial in detail I want to compare the times
courses averaged over all occurances of like trials (and participants).
I run FEAT (well actually FeatQuery, but I dont thing it matters) and
get the time series plots containing averaged data over the whole time
and peri-stimulus plots with non-averaged data for each EV.
So I can either
a) use the averaged data from the time series plot data and chop it up
and average it appropriately in say, matlab.
b) use the peristimulus plot data and find the average for each time point.
Neither option is hugely daunting, but have I missed a trick here? Is
there some way of changing the options in some part of fsl to eliminate
these extra steps and make featquery output lovely averaged peristimulus
data?
Thank you very much for your time
Harriet
