Hi,
Just to follow up on Philipps response:
The transformation of individual flow images into standard space makes it possible to submit them to statistical analysis (preferably non-parametric, i.e. by randomise).
Cheers-
Andreas

Betreff: Re: [FSL] SIENA Voxelwise analysis
Hello,
usually the flow images (which are grey-scale images) should be transferred to
the Talairach space and be smoothed as specified in the script. I. e. the
grey scale voxels from the single case should result in a kind of bandlike
structure due to the transformation and smoothing. But yes, there is a
relationship between the individual output (flow-image) and the result of
siena2tal.
The red/blue image is just a rendered image to demonstrate the result in
colors.
So maybe could you specifiy what you mean by 'gray scale values around the
mask edges' (the standard mask?)
kind regards,
Philipp
