Dear colleagues,
could you forward the following to your list of friends.
Need ideas about animation movies, good documentaries and good feature
films on refugees, asylum seekers and migration issues, preferably
with French subtitles.

Refugee Film Festival in Cambodia
June 20 is a World Refugee Day and we are organizing a short Refugee
Film Festival (RFF) at the French Cultural Center in Phnom Penh (PNP),
Cambodia.
It is a non-commercial event to raise more awareness about refugee
issues in South East Asia and in the world.
There are a lot of misunderstandings between refugees from the
neighboring Vietnam and Cambodians and we hope that this film festival
could create a better picture of what it means to be a refugee and to
show that issues Cambodians used to have when they were refugees in
Thailand during the Khmer Rouge and issues that Montagnards from
Vietnam are very similar to what the Sudanese in Darfur and other
refugees in the world are struggling now .
RFF will screen films about refugees and by refugees. We will have
several panel discussions with refugees before/after film screenings.
RFF is the first ever Refugee Film Festival in Cambodia and any
assistance with this non-commercial project will be greatly
appreciated.
