Yes, these are all ugly words but, worse they are obscure in their meanings and somewhat bogus.
I am quite happy to apply the word 'touristification' to what has happened to Ann Hathaway's cottage, largely because it is more accurate, but also slightly aspersive! For other objects, however, the phrase 'relegation to museum or heritage display' would seem to cover the essentials.

'Musealisation' is an ugly word, and since it seems to
require a lot of explanation, it does not seem a
useful word - except as perhaps the short title for a
PhD or conference paper (which one could then explain
at length). 'Heritagisation' should have been
strangled at birth - it's diffcult to pronounce even!
