I thought this might be of interest ...
ADS / AHDS Archaeology is pleased to announce a new trial service within
ArchSearch. Using links to the recently launched 'Google Maps' service
we're able to present location maps and limited aerial photography within
ArchSearch records. Archaeological sites and other features of historical
and architectural interest are located within bounding boxes based on the
precision with which sites are recorded. Users are able to zoom and pan
easily around an area.
This new feature is presented as a trial because we want comments. To use
the service, simply go to any record in ArchSearch and switch on the maps in
the dialog box on the top right They will stay with for the rest of your
session.
