The Geoenvironmental Research Centre 's Land Regeneration Network, is
pleased to present a one day training workshop entitled "Practical
Application of Stakeholder Management in Major Projects" - 21st April, 2005
at Cardiff University
The aim of the training workshop is for delegates to: 1) master the use of a
practical toolkit for assessing stakeholder risks during project initiation;
2) define and cost mitigation strategies appropriate to their project needs;
3) produce a coherent stakeholder management plan linked to other project
milestones and deliverables.
The course is aimed at, Consulting Engineers, Environmental Consultants,
Contractors, Developers, Local Authorities and Project Managers.
This one-day training workshop is split into three sessions, with each
session involving break-out group work and the practical application of
tools and techniques.
- Session 1: Introduction to Stakeholder Management: Concepts, Tools and
Processes
- Session 2: Identifying and Classifying Stakeholder Risks. Developing and
Costing Mitigation Strategies
- Session 3: Defining and Delivering an effective Stakeholder Management
