Subject: Sperm whale skeleton image
Hi Marmam
I while ago I got a telephone from a very enthusiastic teacher from a
small settlement on the coast all the way up north in Norway. He had found a
collection of whale bones on the beach, and from his not very precise but
very vivid description I could tell him that it was probably a sperm whale.
He's a teacher in primary school, and already had plans to make this a large
thematic part of his biology class' school year. An essential part of his
educational plan was to have a wall chart or another type of suitable image
depicting a sperm whale skeleton. preferably in all its parts and with
names.
I have been searching high and low in my own files and at the libraries to
find charts or images that would suit his needs, but I have given up. Now I
ask you:
If anyone has charts, scans or other types of digital imagery of sperm
whale skeletons, photographic or systematic sketches, I would be eternally
grateful. Don't hesitate to send high-resolution digital images.
Please respond to me, not the list.
Best regards
