Dear MARMAM and ECS subscribers,
Apologies for cross-posting.
We are searching for information about digital cameras to use in cetacean
research, as we are considering purchasing one.
We are conducting photo-identification of bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops
truncatus) in the northern Adriatic Sea. We often work in poor light
conditions
(cloudy weather, mist, dusk, etc.).
We would be happy to hear your recommendations and experience concerning the
use
of certain cameras and lenses (speed, resolution, aperture, etc.).
We would also appreciate any comments regarding the possible experience with
the
following cameras and lenses:
Canon D30
Canon 1D
Canon EOS 350D
Nikon D100
Lens: Canon EF 70-200 F/2,8 L USM
Please send your responses to [log in to unmask]
Thank you in advance!
