Hi all,
I didn't pick up the first email on this subject, but am guessing it would include video conferencing into ECS conferences, which is something I would find very useful, as I too try not to fly, due to climate change. I support and welcome any efforts to introduce measures to reduce our impact on the environment.
Many thanks,
Emily.

Dear Members,
Firstly, thanks to Colin for raising this issue and providing information on
the subject. I am surprised there have been so few comments on the proposal
and no messages in support of the ECS conference becoming carbon-neutral.
As Colin said, we have a duty to limit our effects on the environment and the
marine environment in particular. Isn't it time we started to lead by
example?
Kind regards,
Jo.
