Hi Ana Leonor,
Thank you for your valuable message; your area of research interests me very much, and I will write to you separately to converse with you about your own work if I may.
It’s likely that my own research will look at drawings in the creative process of artists, architects, and scientists, and how they relate to thinking.
My overarching research question is “How is drawing used as creative thinking”, but there are a lot of aspects which involve looking at the relationship between art and science, and also spatial representation.
You mentioned being interested in aspects of cognitive brain science. I expect you have heard of the work which has been done by people like John Tchalenko at Goldsmiths in London. I have other references also which might interest you.
I know Ivana Wingham who is doing research at the Bartlett in London is interested in conceptual drawing in the process of architecture.
Regards,
Trish.
