Couldn't agree more Rachel!
We believe that we way we encourage children to explore their mathematical
graphics (partly due to the fact that they have genuine choices) may also -
in some repects - mirror the way in which adult artists approach their
representations, and some of the ways in which mathematicians work. This is
a huge generalisation of course - but might this be so?
