Dear
Drawing Research Network
As I know Trish and Mary Clare, Anne and few others in the current transfer
of information and questions on the emails, and as my work is to do with the
environment, I propose a day symposium at kingston soon as the next meeting
of the Drawing Research Network looking at this theme.
The realistic time frame for this would be early April.
I shall investigate booking an appropriate space for a group to meet and
show research work and discuss and post the information on the www soon. I
shall also find out if Steve Garner has a preferred date, and establish a
chair for the day.
There will have to be a small charge to off set refreshments etc, but that
shall be minimal
Give me a few weeks and all will be posted on the email list.
best wishes

Dear Maryclare
A similar request was raised in November and I met a very good PhD
student in at Glasgow School of Art - sorry, I've since lost the the
email connections. In the meantime, I am developing a programme,
Drawing On Life, at MMU that combines life drawing practice with
seminars on ecological arts practice, concerns and philosophy. I will,
also, be making a presentation at the Embodiment of Change conference
(11/12 March at Welfare State International's Lanternhouse, Ulverston)
and touching some of the issues associated with the loss of core skills
(drawing and field studies) and ecological awareness. See you there?
