A primary-sources web site which links to hand-selected pictures, documents, maps, and audio/visual clips from the world's leading libraries, archives and governmental web sites is now free to all libraries, schools and educators in the UK. The site (which is called AwesomeStories) has about 100,000 hand-selected links, positioned in-context within hundreds of topics, and was recently featured in a new book, "101 Best Web Sites for Teachers," published by the International Society for Technology in Education.
Although the site is subscription-based, it is free to all libraries, schools, educators and library media specialists. Simply request an academic membership at the site's main URL: http://www.awesomestories.com/
