Netskills will be running the following workshops at Leeds Metropolitan
University:
1. Design Solutions for e-Learning (13th September)
e-Learning is becoming increasingly important in all
educational sectors. The systems typically used to facilitate
e-Learning provide an important framework, however, issues of
appropriate and effective use remain. This workshop demonstrates how
traditional teaching practice can be used to guide the development
of pedagogically fit e-Learning.
* This workshop benefits from a JISC subsidy significantly reducing
costs for eligible participants *
2. Mobile Learning: Education on Demand (14th September)
Many organisations are implementing mobile technologies to
support learning. Whilst this may have great potential to improve
learning, the issues arising from the use of such technologies need
to be considered carefully? How suitable are they pedagogically
and practically?
This workshop is suitable for anyone who is interested in using
mobile devices in education or those who simply wish to know more
about these emerging technologies.
