Abstract:
The dust has just about settled after the election campaign, where the
parties came up with even more innovative ways of getting our votes
while
constantly jostling for our attention.
The Hansard Society e-Democracy Programme and Oxford Internet Institute
have
joined forces to produce a report containing definitive data on the
election, looking at what happened online and what impact it made.
The distinguished panel:
Peter Snow, BBC election guru (Chair) - invited.
Stephen Coleman, Professor of eDemocracy - Oxford Internet Institute
Steve Ward, ESRC Project leader - Representative Politics in the Age of
the
Internet
Lynne Featherstone MP - offering an insight into the online campaign as
a
new MP
Short presentations will be followed by an open-floor discussion.
Kind Regards,
Lucy Martin
