Hi Graeme!
I wrote to HEFCE directly a few weeks ago to find out
where they slot Creative Writing. My own institution
had always told me that HEFCE decided how the subject
was funded. To my surprise, however, the response I
received said that it is the institution that decides
on the level of funding, so long as it makes the right
arguments in the application. Does this fit with your
understanding?
