Not to enter into debates which do not belong on this list or anything,
but just to point out that J. Giles has been invited many times to write
a proposal actually describing his envisioned genericity in Fortran, and
has failed to do so, other than of course constantly complaining about
the other proposals which people have written.
So, please write a paper or something describing your ideas in
sufficient detail and clarity and then maybe we can discuss whose model
is better and criticise other languages and committees.
