Those of you who don't read the Stoa (http://www.stoa.org/) won't know about four new polytonic Greek fonts available for download at http://semata.delendis.com/fuentes.html They're free and look quite nice, even for Latin.
Another site you may want to visit/join is Blogographos (http://blogographos.dhamel.com). It's a group weblog administered by Debra Hamel (Trying Neaira). I've been sticking things like aerial photos of the Acropolis and Coliseum and other notices up. I'll be putting up my skim of Robert Hannah's Greek and Roman Calendars shortly.
Finally I've just realised that it might be helpful if you could use Greek letters reliably in things like PowerPoint for presentations. If you're using someone else's computer, the trick is to use the Palatino Linotype (or Lucinda Grande if you use a Mac). There's more detail at my own site http://archaeoastronomy.co.uk/?p=87
