The Summer 2005 issue of the London Socialist Historians Group Newsletter has been published and
can be downloaded from the LSHG web site.
It contains articles by Louis Raw discussing her new research on the
1888 Bryant & May strike, by Nik Howerd on the origins of Japanese
imperialism, and by Pete Glatter on the 1905 centenary issue of
_Revolutionary History_, together with a review by Neil Rogall of Ian
Birchall's _Sarte Against Stalinism_.
It also contains, as usual, news and announcements of forthcoming seminars and other events of
interest to socialist historians in the London area and beyond.
