'A Haunting' - an interdisciplinary arts event
Call for submissions of work influenced by ideas and emotions
connected to fear and suspense.
We are looking for visual artists, video/film makers, textile
practitioners, fashion practitioners, architects, spatial
designers, product designers and set designers for theatre. We'd
particularly like to hear from practitioners whose work is
inspired by cinema and 'built space'.

and a publication will be produced to accompany the event,
featuring all contributors. There are opportunities for
site-specific work - if you're interested in submitting a
site-specific proposal, please contact Vicki Wheeler via e-mail
at [log in to unmask] to arrange to view the exhibition
space prior to submitting your proposal.
The exhibition will take place in Sackville Street Building,
Manchester 21 October - 31 October, 2005.
To apply, please send 6 visuals of past work, a CV and a
statement regarding your practice. In addition please send
EITHER images of work you would like to exhibit OR a detailed
proposal of a new work that you'd like to create for this
exhibition opportunity. Submit your application by post to
