Dear BUGS users,
In WinBUGS, the precision matrix for the inter-individual difference is assumed to satisfy an inverse Wishart distribution. For non-informative priors, the degrees of freedom for the inverse Wishart distribution is set to n, with the dimension of the precision matrix being nxn. When I do have some information about distribution of the inter-individual precision matrix, e.g. I know the mean of this distribution and the std. dev. of all the elements of the precision matrix, should I change the degrees of freedom, if so, how?
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Susan
