**** Learning Technology Scotland 2005 - a date for your diary ****
If you're interested in finding out about how Universities are using VLEs in
Scotland, how staff are engaging with the new technology, and if you'd like
to share best practice in these areas with like-minded colleagues, then the
place to be on 25th August is Dundee University for the one-day conference:
'Learning Technology Scotland 2005'.
This event is primarily for staff in HE connected with ICT-related staff
development and the implementation of e-learning. Workshops and
presentations will demonstrate current perspectives and practice in several
Scottish universities, including two case studies from further education.
The event will also include keynote presentations by Bill Harvey from the
Scottish Funding Councils, and from Sarah Knight, JISC, who will speak about
the impact of mobile and wireless technologies on learning and teaching. Seb
Schmoller will explain the new ALT accreditation initiative for learning
technologists.
