Zoe,
You can set the properties of this page via ADMINISTRATOR PANEL > MANAGE TABS > MODIFY TAB > DEFAULT CONTENT and also DEFAULT LAYOUT.
This allows you to choose which modules to display by default and which not to show. You can also make the tab area personalisable by users or not, as you choose (via ADMINISTRATOR PANEL > MANAGE TABS > MODIFY TAB > TAB PROPERTIES)

Dear all,
Can anyone advise on how (if possible) to create a template for the
institution level page in BB? Our default set-up has a box for My
Announcements, but these announcements get repeated in the My Courses box. I
know individuals can change this (by clicking on the pencil icon of the My
Courses box), but is there a way to change the default settings for everyone
in an institution?
We're using the Blackboard Learning and Community Portal System(tm) version
6.2.3.19
