We're aiming for 0.1mm, as that's what commercial machines do now, and we know
that's useful. But a general principle is that coarse-manufacture +
fine-adjustment = precision. If things can be designed with screw adjusters to
locate and align them, and a method laid out for achieving that adjustment
(maybe using test parts and digital calipers for measuring), then you should be
well on your way.
