Hi Jeremy/Geoff
I know this forum tends to avoid pricing but as Jeremy has asked the direct
question, please excuse the direct response.
It all comes down to volumes at the end-of the day guys.
I agree, currently the Interface unit, D50077, is less than 50% of the 1 off
Omni+ pricing, £100 vs £214, however, the Omni+ is paradoxically a high
volume specialty product & as such, pricing for 2-5 & 6-10 per year drops
appreciably for organisations who can commit to a higher annual usage.
I would have to say also that if this unit were to go into full production,
the unit would need to be modified to make it easier to assemble. This would
probably result in the use of a slightly larger enclosure, think Pilot+ chin
module, & in all probability a cost closer to £125, making the differential
somewhat less.
Hope this is of interest.

Hi Geoff
I don't want to be too specific as the Scottish contracts are different to
the
English ones, but we're still talking well under half the price, even in
general terms. John, do you want to provide a quote/guestimate?
cheers
Jeremy
