The UPS might be best. However, the client is currently retrieving the UPS that we helped her buy for her ripple mattress & profiling bed. She gave it to a friend after a mattress maintenance "engineer" told her she didn't need it! He obviously hadn't spent a night on a deflated ripple mattress.

No, but have you considered a UPS, e.g. [1] - this will smooth out most
short power cuts (i.e. up to about 45mins).
Check that you can run the UPS without being connected to a computer before
getting it - some of them will only work when USBd or Serialed to the PC.
She doesn't live somewhere just south of Birmingham does she?!!!! We seem
to be getting loads recently, causing a cacophony of house alarms to go off
in the middle of the night! (-:

Dear all
I have a client interested in the BT InTouch 2000 phone (like the Possum &
SRS versions). She experiences frequent & lengthy (all night) power cuts,
so, has anyone come across a similar pendant operated phone which doesn't
announce "no mains power" every few minutes?
The client is not interested in the local "Lifeline" service.
