Hi Jemma,
One option we've used fairly extensively is the GENIE Joystick, http://www.click2go.ie/genie/index.htm - available from a company in Ireland called Unique Perspectives. It provides users with infra red control of an onscreen pointer from their DX Power Chair Joystick.
Its wireless and from our experience, fairly easy to set up, its also quite easy to use to click and drag functions from this joystick.
Hope this is useful.

Subject: Emulation Software
Hi
I am trying to find some mouse emulation software for a ten year old girl to use with her wheelchair joystick. She has limited arm control using her shoulder with which she can now drive her wheelchair. She has a DX system, and via an ECU we have connected her tablet computer to the wheelchair. It is preferable for her to use her wheelchair joystick to control the mouse on her computer, however at the moment she has a large roller ball style mouse connected up. She finds this better to use as it is more responsive, however it does not allow her to use the click and drag function as she would like to. She did have the Sensory Software switch driver on her computer but I have removed this, I have also looked at the Agven JoyMouse software which is responsive enough but does not appear to incorporate the click and drag function. The only other I have found is the Dwell Pick, however this is too confusing for her. Does anyone know of any software I could try? She is looking at u
sing a switch under her elbow, but with limited arm control this will be difficult. Head switching would work but has been rejected. Also, is it possible to use one switch and toggle between click, double click and click and drag?
Thanks
