We are in process of rewriting our rather elderly documentation for the
post of Archivist here at Bury. It would be helpful to see some examples of
job descriptions and person specs for other local authority archivists,
particularly those in charge of small services, or branch offices of large
ones. Please reply off list ([log in to unmask]). If there appear to be
any variations/themes which are of general interest, I will post a summary
