ARCHIVIST (CATALOGUING)
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the recently-created Postal Heritage
Trust, formed from the Archive and Museum of Royal Mail.
Location: London, WC1
Closing date: 12 April 2005
The post attracts a salary of £22,000 to £24,000pa and is a permanent post.
DO YOU HAVE?
A post-graduate qualification in Archives & Records Management or
equivalent (but applications from those qualifying this year would be
welcomed).
Experience of archive cataloguing.
COULD YOU?:
Catalogue archival material as part of a team, to required and
agreed standards, for our paper and online catalogues.
Administer and participate in archival project work.
Help make our catalogues more user-friendly through extra
descriptive aids, and promote catalogues to users.
