Dear Colleagues
Yorkshire Museums, Libraries and Archives Council is the regional body

YMLAC aims to improve and widen access to Yorkshire’s rich and diverse

archive collections across Yorkshire and make recommendations for future
action. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to co-
ordinate and manage this exciting project.
The post holder will be responsible for developing and undertaking the
project, to time and on budget. The successful candidate will have a
postgraduate qualification in Archives/Records Management and an excellent
understanding of archival cataloguing, including standards such as ISAD

advantage and good communication skills are essential. You will be highly
motivated and ideally have previous project management experience.
You should be good at working with a wide range of people, well organized
and willing to travel widely in the region to undertake the audit element
of the project.
