Subject: Help with an AHRC-ICT strategy project
Dear Archive hub users-
The Arts and Humanities Research Council is reviewing their overall
Information and Communication Technology strategy in an effort to better
serve all those researchers whom they will be funding over the next decade.
Part of that review has begun with a series of 'listening exercises', such
as surveys, interviews and focus groups.
This email is to elicit your help by taking part in an on-line
questionnaire. It will be available from early-December to late-April, and
there will be a prize draw with a chance to win a £100 gift voucher from
Amazon.co.uk. Details of how to enter are at the end of the questionnaire.
The questionnaire is located at: http://kmd-dell.dmu.ac.uk:8080/opinio/s?s=3
(please note that the survey may be blocked if your network firewall
prevents 8080 configurations. If this is the case, please contact your
network administrator to bypass the problem)
The questionnaire is hosted through the joint efforts of DeMontfort
University and Sheffield University's Research Portals in Arts and
Humanities (RePAH) and University College of London's Log Analysis of
Internet Resources in the Arts and Humanities (LAIRAH). For further
information please see our web sites: http://rpah.dmu.ac.uk/ and
http://www.ucl.ac.uk/SLAIS/LAIRAH/.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me, and I will
be happy to assist in any way that I can. Information about the AHRC's
review which begins at the end of 2006 can be found on their web site:
http://www.ahrcict.rdg.ac.uk/index.htm.
Please let me know if you will be helping us with this research, and/or if
you encounter in difficulties with the linking process. Until then, thank
you very much for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Jared Bryson
