Institute for the Environment
The Institute is a research and postgraduate teaching enterprise in its
formative years. It has first class researchers in ecotoxicology,
environmental change, environmental chemistry, environmental policy and
environmental health. There are opportunities to join this group for
excellent researchers wishing to develop their own careers while
co-operating with existing staff in the areas identified above. We have
excellent facilities, attract students and visitors from all over the world
and have productive links with government, universities and industry in the
London region, UK generally and overseas.
Successful applicants will have a solid research record and promising
futures in one of more of the following fields:
Epidemiology;
Population dimensions of health and disease;
Environmental policy;
Environmental quality (especially in aquatic environments).
Outstanding applicants will be considered for appointment at a level higher
than Lecturer B.
Closing date for applications will be 8 July 2005. Appointments will be
available from 1 September 2005.
