Dear members of the list,
We are going to start experimental essays on Prosopis fruit grinding. Their
products were prehistorically and still are very used over the whole
Argentina. I was carried out some ethnobotanical studies in our NW. Now, we
will intend to characterize Argentinean Prosopis starch
grains (we could see not only sugar but also starch grains in their fruit
mesocarp). I am asking for your help about any bibliography you may know
about
Prosopis starch grains, and fruit-seed morphology. We wonder if there is
any more than the southamerican information we have, along the European
background.
