I'd try to find a sample of Standard Reference Material (SRM) #493 --
spheroidized iron carbide in a ferrite matrix -- from the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Here is a link to the

All of the NIST SRMs have been well characterized and documented. I
have a number of NIST SRMs that I use for standards in my lab, but not
this one -- I'd send you a sample if I did.
