African Historian
Minnesota State University, Mankato invites applications for a
tenure-track, Assistant professor, in Sub-Saharan African History beginning
August 2005. Responsibilities: Teach African history. Ph.D. by August 22,
2005, with emphasis in Sub-Saharan African history and potential for
successful teaching. Commitment to scholarly achievement, advising, and
service, as well as ability to teach Middle Eastern history and to
contribute to Women's Studies, Ethnic Studies, and Social Studies, and to
use technology in support of teaching may be considered. To apply, submit
letter of application addressing the qualifications listed above,
transcripts, three letters of recommendation, c.v., teaching evaluations
