Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the second round of funding for Postgraduate Projects from C-SAP. After last years' success C-SAP has decided to fund another round of Postgraduate Projects in order to promote learning and teaching initiatives within the Postgraduate community.
The projects submitted to C-SAP should demonstrate a "learning and teaching" dimension in order to be considered for funding and they should address one of the following topics:
· Globalisation
· Higher Education Policy
· E-Learning
· Vocationalism
· Widening Participation
· Employability
· Student Perspectives
· Pedagogy and Pedagogic Research
· Race and Ethnicity
· Academic Activism
We have £10,000 available in total during 2005, and you can bid for up to £2,000 (minimum £250) per project. A simple one-page application form is available on the C-SAP website at: http://www.c-sap.bham.ac.uk/subject_areas/projects/postgrad.htm
The deadline for receipt of applications is 7 March 2005. All applications will be part of an open bidding process and will be judged independently on their own merits. Please send all completed application forms by email to: [log in to unmask]
Please find attached the C-SAP guidelines on bidding and the application form for your information. We would be most grateful if you could help us publicise this funding within your department and to colleagues so as to make it as encompassing as possible.
If you require any further information or assistance you can reach me on: 0121 414 2993 or by email on: [log in to unmask]
I look forward to receiving your applications.
Best wishes,
Silvia Ricondo
