Details
We have exciting and challenging opportunities for applied statisticians
to work in the non-clinical areas of discovery and development as members
of our Statistical Sciences Europe department. Collaborating with
scientists discovering new chemical and biological entities or developing
new substances into viable medicines, you will be encountering problems
that are diverse and demanding and require a perceptive and creative flair
for applying statistical knowledge. As part of a team of statisticians,
you will use and develop your statistical knowledge and expertise and in
these roles you will be able to apply a wide variety of methodologies,
including linear and non linear modelling, design and analysis of
experiments and multivariate methods as they relate to the non-clinical
discovery and development of medicines for example in genomics or process

opportunities for you to take lead statistical roles within
multidisciplinary groups as new initiatives are developed. You will need
to enthusiastically and knowledgeably promote your methods, maximising
their benefit to our business. Previous experience is not essential,
however, for the more experienced roles you will have ideally five years
relevant work experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or
as a consultant statistician in a scientific or manufacturing field.
Crucial to this challenge is that you should have outstanding
