Based in the School of Geographical Sciences you will be a Statistician joining an interdisciplinary research team specialising in the analysis of social data with complex structure that mirrors substantive research questions. You will be based in the newly established ESRC node, Learning Environment for Multilevel Methodology and Applications, and the School of Geographical Sciences. LEMMA is part of the ESRC National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM).
The methodological aim of the Node is to extend existing multilevel models for non-hierarchical structures. The substantive aim is to apply these techniques to a variety of flagship projects to research important social science questions. Alongside the research programme is a training and capacity building programme, which includes the development of a multilevel modelling virtual learning environment.
Grade: Grade 1A - Grade 2
