A post-doctoral research position is open to work on statistical
problems linked to
aspects of plant survival in natural and agricultural ecosystems, in
the context of
the National Centre for Competence in Research (NCCR) in this domain,
more

The successful applicant will interact with biologists in various
modules of the
NCCR, and will be expected to develop statistical tools for application
to data
arising from their work. Some statistical consulting will also be
expected, with
the potential for some lecturing and/or supervision of undergraduate and
graduate projects.
The post is open for two years in the first instance, but may be
renewed up
to a maximum of a further two years.
Required background: Ph.D. in statistics, preferably in modern
statistical methods
or biostatistics.
