how many way we can calculate Eigenvalues?
the one in text book mentioned that

det = (a-L)(d-L) - cb
so L with 2 roots.
this method is fine for 2x2 matrices, or even 3x3
matrices, but when it go to 4x4 or 5x5 then we cant do
it by hand, and the increase in computational effort
is much much faster then the increase in extra
dimension, such that it seems it is not a very good
way to go for computation proposes.
SVD require eigenvalue to start with, I am wondering
if there is a simpler way to calculate it.
