New Jersey, USA
A strategic decision has been taken to move the R&D Headquarters of this
international pharmaceutical company from Tokyo to New Jersey. This has
created a number of opportunities within PK/PD for forward-thinking
individuals who share the belief that the data produced before and
during "proof of concept" should be central to decision making, planning
and budget-setting for the whole R&D process.
Director, Pharmacokinetics (Ref: 05349)
In this newly-created role, you will define and lead PK and PK/PD
strategies and activities (including population PK and PK/PD modelling)
within global project teams. As a key member of cross-functional teams,
you will be responsible for study design, analysis, interpretation and
reporting of PK results from clinical studies across all phases of drug
development and for contributing to regulatory dossiers.
A PhD with around 5 - 10 years pharmaceutical industry experience, you
will utilise your considerable experience in drug development to
champion the benefits of high quality and timely PK/PD input to the
development of NCEs. You will demonstrate an in depth knowledge of PK
and PK/PD evaluation techniques and an ability to perform mathematical
and statistical modelling of population and PK/PD data.
Senior Pharmacokineticist (Ref: 05350)
As part of a growing team, you will be responsible for the design,
analysis, interpretation and reporting of PK and PK/PD activities on
specific clinical studies. Working across all phases of the drug
development process, this is an ideal opportunity to develop your career
in a fast-paced, forward-thinking organisation.
A graduate or post-graduate with a minimum of one-year pharmaceutical
industry experience, you will demonstrate a good understanding of the
overall drug development process and solid experience of traditional
non-compartmental and compartmental PK analysis. Experience in
population PK and clinical trail simulation is desirable, but not
essential.
